Second Verse, Same as the First

I used Waiting for the Muse for 15 years and she never really showed up, so the new blog is Sandy's Missing Muse.  Maybe somebody will find her and lead her back in chains for a little re-education.  Let me know if you run into her, or actually ANY Muse will do.  New title, fewer digressions, but still just the same old ramble.  We will see how long Blogger lets me stay this time.  Hey, I need a new theme so I will be trying stuff out over the next few posts- let me know if something doesn't work and I will try to deal with it.  And here we go!

Welcome back if you were able to find me again!  If you haven't found me yet I will do a bit of a sweep wherever I have a few old friends and see if I can reassemble the fold.  Tell anybody who may be interested.  I have many squirrels to show before I sleep.  I've missed you guys, have so many things to tell you-  for one all the baby lizards have hatched and scurry around underfoot in a death defying frenzy.  I step slowly and carefully so as not to disturb any lizard gene pools.  The Bufo frogs haven't shown their ugly fat faces this season but I don't turn on the entry light and I chase them off with a giant broom if they do occasionally show up

So, one more of my Wildlife reports and I'll shut up...the important one:

Molly the Wonder Dog is now 14 years and 4 months.  I am not buying her any green bananas.  I actually have been very worried about her as she was sleeping constantly and refusing to eat so I thought her day had come and took her in to the vet.  Before the vet got to the examining room I heard heavy sobbing in the room next to us and knew what was happening so decided to just see what she said.  She got a cursory examination and another prescription- this time for an appetite enhancer (Certainly not anything anybody in my tribe has ever needed!).  So when I got home I gave her a few drops and within an hour she had finished a bowl of food and was begging for more.  She was awake all day, even at over 100 dog years.  She was bouncing around like a puppy of maybe 12, anyway, doing great.  For the most part it has continued and I realize I have to spring for another grooming now that she is staying with us.  A good thing, but my plans weren't in this direction.  By the way the pink legs in the picture are from her saliva caused by her OCD licking.  She is, shall we say, somewhat cognitively impaired.
