obligatory squirrel of the day
South Korean Puppy Daycare Nap time Showed these to my husband and he says they've been drugged or they are dead. I said no, they are just good doggies. Here's mine, helping load the dishwasher:
Since this is an art blog I thought I would post some kanthan re-works. Last year I ordered a pack of 10 Kantha quilts from my suppler. Some were beautiful, most were ordinary except one or two little areas so I used those for pillow covers, chair seats and throws until I got down to the brighter colored ones I wanted to be more in-your-face. So, I made two jackets and a dress. One jacket, mostly browns, is back in Boston, the other one is here:
Also made a dress, but I'm waiting for a more Assymetrical Occasion!
.
See? I do sew once in awhile. Actually am in the middle of two larger pieces that have reached THAT point I dread- ready to quilt. I HATE that part, want to just ship them off to be finished somewhere else because I am done done done once I have it all cut out and pinned to the wall. What I need is a herd of little stitchers, apprentices maybe, as long as they don't eat too much*, who come in after dark and listen to loud music and dance a little between sewing parts.
* because I have a very tiny refrigerator
Time's up, only one more thing to do here, and that's my NEW YEAR'S Card:
Sew, Sandy, Sew
